Monitoring workstream
The UK Government has developed a results framework for the ICF portfolio, comprising of 17 Key Performance Indicators.
The UK Government is committed to understanding and measuring the impact of its ICF investments, and annually publishes a set of key results.
The Climate Change Compass programme helped the UK Government to ensure the ICF Results Framework reflects best practice internationally through the development of methodologies and guidance; and thus support improvements in the quality and quantity of ICF results reporting.
An increasing number of development partners are designing or developing similar approaches to measure the impact of their climate finance.
The UK government is collaborating and co-ordinating with many development partners. It wishes to identify and share ‘good practice’ approaches, methodologies and metrics with which to measure and track results from climate finance.
